What am I supposed to do; in case of an active shooter

In light of recent events, as the Chief of Campus Police I would be remiss in my duties if I did not publicly inform you of resources available to answer the question "what am I supposed to do?" During a high stress situation such as an Active Shooter our bodies create a natural brain chemical called dopamine, a sudden burst of dopamine activates what's called the fight or flight response. In keeping things simple and knowing about how dopamine affects your body, your body will react in one of three ways, run, fight or hide. Run falls into the flight reaction whereas fight or hide both fall into the fight reaction. Hiding is not considered running, have you ever backed a cat into a corner.
